The car itself is very good mechanically, however shortly after the warranty on the paint expired a piece of the paint about the size of a loony peeled off and continues to get larger. Hyundai said it was probably caused by a rock chip, I say BS, the paint did not adhere to the primer, a manufacturing defect. They said too bad. I will not purchase another Hyundai or any other car from Summit Hyundai. More

Then once left as was testing out other brands he sent me an email saying that my father was very u responsible for allowing me to try out any other brand besides hyundai due to lower safety rating. I ended up purchasing the hyundai I test drove but through the Yarmouth location and had wonderful service and they ended up meeting me half way in Digby to trade SUVs. I provided all information and they processed it, one it took several days until I heard back regarding the credit check. I didn't hear back from them until after my 12th time calling them, I was told that my credit check did not come back looking so good, which wasn't too surprising to me as I don't have the best of credit but I had been working on fixing and maintaining my credit so I was slightly surprised, therefore my interest rate was higher than I would've liked. I ultimately decided not to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and tried elsewhere. The dealership I tried was Hyundai in Dartmouth processed my credit check and got back to me the very next day, with a lower interest rate and a different story regarding my credit... come to find out Summit Hyundai had made a careless mistake on my credit check and just didn't correct it making my credit approval come back looking very bad. I would never recommend anyone to this dealership they are a bunch of bimbos who have no clue what they are doing, you would almost thing they don't even want to sell you one of their vehicles.... extremely horrible customer service and an extremely horrible experience, if I hadn't gone elsewhere I would've been under the impression that my credit was still showing up as that bad and would've not found my new vehicle. I would avoid this dealership like a the plague! More
Did not want to quote me a price ! Was considering buying an Elantra, and wanted to see for myself how Summit would approach a possible sale. After the test drive the pressure tactics started and when I asked for a quote, the sales person said they knew what I was doing and they would not give me a price, fearing I would shop around for a better deal. Hmm, isn't that what consumers are suppose to do? Not in Lando's world! After almost walking out, they finally came calling and said they would provide me with a *special price* to mend the fence, if you will. At this point I felt very uneasy and walked out and went and bought a vehicle at a much more reputable dealer (Steele Hyundai) and was totally satisfied with their price and customer service. Oh and BTW: Summit's special price was as I suspected... not so special at all. More

Let me tell you this guy is as greasy as they come ! He will try to suck every penny out of you by hiding things in the purchase contract. For example I wanted a set of winter tires included in the deal so they charged me $ 795.00 for the package but hidden in the contract Lando was charging me a $ 599.99 extended tire warranty that I had never asked for. When I called him out on that he got very defensive and told me that he doesn't have to sell me a car, things then got heated up and he kicked us out of the dealership. This man is very arrogant and crooked, I have no Idea how Hyundai is ok with having someone like that representing their brand. I will certainly never be buying a vehicle from this dealership again and I will tell as many people I know to stay clear of that establishment. More
Everyone was very friendly initially, but once the deal was made, they don't even acknowledge you. Phone calls not returned, rude, disrespectful, and confrontational to me. Robert made false promises to me about extras he would put on the car and made it very clear to me that it was at no cost to me. When the paperwork was done, I ended up paying full price for things that I was promised. As well, he offered me a set amount for my car and didn't give me the full price. I went to the dealership three times to do the paperwork and was rudely left waiting only to be sent home because he did not put my name down to see Trevor for the financing. When I questioned him on all this, he said nothing is free. Integrity is free, Robert. Maybe you should get some. I won't deal with Summit again. More
Buying from Summit Hyundai has been the worst purchasing experience I have ever had! They took back promises of the deal on contract signing day, which was the promised winter tires and adding the cost o experience I have ever had! Also, they were to take care of getting the plate done, but they did not. After a few days of contant complaining about this on the phone and in person, they decided to honor this. (Make sure to get everything written and signed). They never call to arrange an oil change and then threaten that it's your fault and tell you that this may void your warranty. They are rude and confrontational on the phone and always leave you with the feeling that you were naughty and did something wrong. It's simply the worst service I have ever experienced for buying a brand new car. We also own a new Mazda and have had the best service ever in the last three years. I'm trading the Elantra in for a different make for this sole reason! (Perhaps another Mazda). I cannot comment on their work, as I haven't had any done. As far as pricing, they are competitive, however, they skipped over my good credit rating and told me that I had no credit. In turn, they decide to give me a high interest loan of 6.5%. So this is another crooked maneuver on their part. More

Very unprofessional bunch...they wiler get my business ever again and I will not ever recommend them to anyone. Mark was great, he really had patience with us as we were trying to decide on a '10 or '11. He told us that he thought he could get us the deal we wanted. Little did we know that we would actually have to go through Alonso for the deal. We met him and I knew instantly that we would be walking out of there with no deal, no car. He was so arrogant. He talked so low so that you had to ask him to repeat himself, then he'd act like you were a complete idiot (and I'm pretty sure he thought we were, anyway) and practically yell. There was no negotiating with the man, he made it very clear that he wouldn't budge from the list price so we walked out. My other half told Mark that Alonso was stubborn and I really thought the little man was going to give himself an anuerysm. He got all huffy in his little office and I thought for a second that he was going to come out of there and confront my other half, but he didn't. It was honestly the most awkward situation I had been in in a long time. Alonso was very unprofessional and I can guarantee that because of him we will never buy from Summit Hyundai and I will never recommend anyone there. Horrible experience. More
