2 major complaints in 1 appointment! I had had my car in for winter maintenance and tire swap 1.5 weeks ago and at that time was told I needed some brake work done, as well as a new calip I had had my car in for winter maintenance and tire swap 1.5 weeks ago and at that time was told I needed some brake work done, as well as a new caliper installed, which would have to be ordered. Was called when part came in and made appt for the work to be done. Was told price ($400ish) and time needed (1 hr). Went in today at 9 and at 10:20, I approached the service desk asking how much longer. The young woman asked me to bear with her as she had a list of recommendations from the service tech and needed to price them out. Turns out they were the same recommendations as I got 1.5 weeks ago and why I was at the dealership today. When I pointed out that those problems were to have been taken care of today and was why I was there, she snarkily disagreed and said today was just for the caliper. Things just went downhill from there - her attitude was passive-aggressive (she made me wait even though I saw the paperwork was ready as were my keys), snippy and officious. Very unpleasant. Mike, from my last appt, asked me to write a review of his service on this site - funny that today's service rep did not. I am the consumer and I am the client. Do not talk down to me, do not show me exasperation, do not ignore me. Your mission statement, which I had 2.5 hrs to read, claims Summit wants to go beyond my expectations with customer service. Today, it went beyond my patience. I will avoid returning. More
