My first mistake was to trust that my car salesma Worst experience I have ever had. In January I went to Brian McLean to finally buy my dream car. My first mistake was to trust that my car salesman Bob Crookall would listen to my needs and get me into the perfect car for me. That was not the case, and when I returned to try to exchange it I found out exactly what kind of a dealership they really are. Rather than just telling me upfront that it was too late and that they had no intention of helping me, they dragged it out for months and in the end humiliated and insulted me. Rod McLean himself called me a liar and ridiculous. The whole experience was demoralizing and in the end I hated my car that much more. The final kicker was when I found out that my sales agreement was filled out in such a way that I was over charged.....that battle is ongoing. Fortunately, after nine months I was able to get out of that car without losing too much money. This is thanks to Harris Oceanside GM in Parksville who treated me with great empathy and respect. My new car is fine, but thanks to Brian McLean I will have to wait a few more years for my dream car. Dealerships such a Brian McLean are what give salespeople such a bad name. More
