My dad and I were looking for Jeeps and found one available at Boyer Chrysler. The salesperson asked me if the purchaser(my father) could send his license so they canmake sure he isn't a "shipper". He likes cars and has had a few, but this doesn't make him a "shipper". The car was priced at MSRP, it was agreed to be purchased. Then they found out he is indigenous and has tax exemption. A few hours later I received a message stating they would not sell the car to him unless he paid for the extended warranty, rust proofing and financed the car. They repeatedly claimed this was all because people are shipping cars out of the country and they have to do this. I was told this was the General Manager's decision. Matt McMurray is the GM there. I am forwarding my text messages to head office. This was very embarrassing. More

Absolutely terrible! They wouldn't honor their advertised online price. Wouldn't negotiate a deal at all. Then the salesman agreed to pay half of the key price, but we've yet to see any $ from him. They agreed to have the windows tinted - we paid. But they did an awful job. The driver's window is peeling an bubbled. The dealer agreed to reimburse, but have yet to do so. Upon delivery of the truck, the salesman miraculously found and threw in a set of mats, from another truck... most likely as a piece offering for the other errors we'd occurred. But they were dirty. The entire truck was dirty. Garbage left under the seat from the previous owner. Finger prints everywhere. It greatly was not cleaned or detailed like we'd agreed it would be. We'd asked for the dealer to install a leveling kit, and possibly swap out the tires for a different set... we would pay for them, just wanted the work done. But apparently it was impossible to find a leveling kit. And the tires weren't an option. Since picking up the truck, the salesman and dealer have gone silent. No replies, no answers, no reimbursement of money. Nothing. If we hadn't fallen in love with the truck, we sure as heck wouldn't have purchased it here. We do not recommend this place, nor will we be returning! We tried to work with them, even giving them 2 weeks before delivery. But the salesman was a joke! More

Recently I test drove a vehicle at this Dealership and when I went to negotiate a sale price for the unit the Sales Associate after coming back from the Sales Managers office advised me there had been an when I went to negotiate a sale price for the unit the Sales Associate after coming back from the Sales Managers office advised me there had been an “error” made on the Dealerships Website and the unit was actually $5000 more. Having said that the Associate advised the Dealership would “honor” the error but there could be no further negotiation. The use of this type of sales tactic (see bait and switch from a previous review) does not allow for potential clients to come away with a positive purchasing experience when spending 70, 80 or even 100 thousand dollars for a vehicle. Compounded to the potential word of mouth damage to a dealerships reputation and corresponding sales, it instantly removes any credibility the Sales Manager may have had coming into the transaction. It continues to astonish me that some members of the Automotive Retail Sales community continue to perpetuate the antiquated process of “check with my Sales Manager” methodology. And continue to make potential client’s feel they are doing them a favor to have them hand over tens of thousands of hard earned money. More
