Car was NOT ready added with the insult of not having an advertised part on the car included. I had to insist they include the piece or I walk from the deal. They (reluctantly) 'threw in' the part which needed time to install. I was forced to spend the night and get the car in the morning. Car was not fully detailed inside. Very disappointed at the the level of professionalism. More
date October 2010 I was shopping for a used car, i date October 2010 I was shopping for a used car, i visited this dealer and i spotted one used car, on site the car was priced at 15995$, the sa date October 2010 I was shopping for a used car, i visited this dealer and i spotted one used car, on site the car was priced at 15995$, the sale's agent Francois offered me a total of 1586$ of discount in which 1000$ price deduction and 586$ as set of 4 new winter tires. i saw it as good deal i put a payment of 1000$ and we signed the contract. Next day i went to Boisvert Kia web site to check the car that i bought and to my surprise i saw that they were announcing it @ 15445$ with 2 sets of 4 tires (4 summer + 4 winter) are included ...! I went back to the dealer complaining about the price the price and asking for compensation as Francois (the agent who sold me the car) gave me fake discount in fact according to Quebec law he did unlawful act by beefing the price up then make a discount on it ... his manager (i cannot remember his name) told me that he cannot do anything as the contract is already signed the manager saw that the price i paid is below market and he cannot lowered any more ... he told me that i have 2 options the first accept the situation as is or cancel the contract and pay 750$ as penalty .... i told him that his act is not acceptable and the discount that i had was fake one he offered me 3 oil change (value of 75$) as compensation ... during the discussion the manager was very rude and he did not show any sympathy and.or accept wrong doing .... ! he saw that the price i paid was reasonable and i tried to let this guy know that the price was based on beefed price and stripped options which is not acceptable and against law ... but without any result the guy knew that we already signed a contract ... finally when i saw this behaviors from what suppose to be the manager that should be a lead to his employee (in good way) i just canceled the contract ... i took a 750$ hit but it's better than buying 15000$ (+ tax) lemon car, simply if they cannot be honest about the price of the car i don't believe that they are honest about the condition of the car .... i don't trust did not want to buy a car from such cr**ks .... So reader be aware .... Hope this experience would help someone else ... More
