Overall pretty good Well I traded my car in for a one year old Tucson. I'd say they gave fair value for trade in. Little disappointed weren't willing to budge on price. It was either little price off tucson or no hyundai advantage. Found out after picked up the Tucson there was stone chip in windshield and clunk/rattle noise coming from rear seats(Found out through Speedy Auto Glass the stone chip was filled already filled)so contacted Birchwood Hyundai and dealt with Mac and service. They owned up to filling in the stone chip. Service tried duplicating the rear noise with no success. They tried blaming cargo tray (which is not true) but after googling it myself. Found it seems to be common issue with the Tucsons and no real fix yet. Tamika in sales was very friendly to deal with, didn't feel pressured. Zane in finance was great. He went through everything and explained it all with not trying to sell us something we don't need. Best finance guy have had at a dealership. As well Mac was nice guy to deal with as well and did best to look after me with my couple complaints. Service group. Not great first impressions but afterwards they ended up being good. Also while they looked at car only Mac checked in with me on updates not the service group (Will see if that trend continues for future services or not) More

Elantra engine issue Service was excellent. Staff explained clearly what was wrong and the steps they'd be taking to try and resolve this warrantee issue. This was a huge Service was excellent. Service Review I am not sure they even changed the oil. i checked the oil after less than 1000 kms, and it was black. They were slow, even with an appointment. Awful --will never buying anything from this dealership Issues, Selling car with chip windshield - next day when I was checking my car I have found chip windshield not one but three, when contacted them the Issues, Selling car with chip windshield - next day when I was checking my car I have found chip windshield not one but three, when contacted them they argued with me and told me probably I had got it while I have drove from dealership to my home. I contacted to manager through hard time get hold off and come to solution. 2) issue was regarding extended warranty I had on my previous old car Tucson which I trade in to get Sonata. while doing paperwork financial manager asked me If I am interested in to get extended warranty on my sonata and also he told me that he managed to pulled some money back from my old warranty I had with Tucson. So, I agree to buy new one, I singed the paperwork with got new extended warranty on my sonata. I checked my paperwork number didn’t look good I spoke with financial manager he explained me the new warranty which I got had cost me around $ 3500. I told him to cancelled it and I want my refund back, Had hard time processing this refund issues, so I contacted directly to extended warranty Company to process my refund and they told me the real truth which I was amazed The actual cost of my warranty was $1800 plus taxes. Absolutely horrific! The finance guy (Zane) talked us into insurance we did not want by saying we could cancel it in 4 months and get our money back, when I said no becaus The finance guy (Zane) talked us into insurance we did not want by saying we could cancel it in 4 months and get our money back, when I said no because I am sure I will forget he said no worries I will call you to remind you and will cancel the insurance for you at that point. I finally agreed to do this but after 4 months he did not call me I have been calling him 5 times so far and he is not returning my calls. Boy, have I been taken! That is not all, when we purchased the car we asked that the car start be installed before we pick up the car. We live 2 hrs out of town and were told we could come in and get the car the following Tuesday, we went in to get the car to find out the car start had not been installed. We ended up taking the car home and waited months before they made arrangements to install. When we did the financing for the car and had gone home I realized that I had not given him a void cheque or anything that would enable them to start taking payments out of my account, I called Zane and he said he forgot and asked if we could bring in a check or give him a number to give the bank when the bank refused the number we gave him we had to come back into the city to get the account info from the bank. This has been the worst experience in purchasing a new car in my life and would never purchase a car from this coo pant again! And suggest you might think twice before you do as well, especially if you live out of town. More
