Sloppy business practices; puts unsafe vehicles on the road My friend purchased a new 2016 Tucson from this dealership in July 2016. Recently he’s been having major issues with his car – his car suddenly dies My friend purchased a new 2016 Tucson from this dealership in July 2016. Recently he’s been having major issues with his car – his car suddenly dies while driving at high speed on the highway. He brought it back to the shop at the dealership for repairs - and time after time after bringing it back for the same reason, the car continues to shut down suddenly while driving. I hope that Birchwood Hyundai understands that they play an important part to keeping roads safe by ensuring the cars that leave their repair shops are properly diagnosed and fixed before releasing the vehicles back to the owners to use. I am deeply disappointed to learn that they continued to put unrepaired, unsafe vehicles back on the road by releasing my friend’s car back to him to operate when it’s actually not repaired. And when my friend asked for help with addressing this very serious safety concern, the solution that the dealership offered was for him finance a more expensive second-hand car at a significantly higher interest rate. I am not sure that Birchwood Hyundai prioritizes safety and reliability of the Hyundai brand, product and services. I think Hyundai Canada should audit and review the operation at this branch to ensure safety is prioritized before the team at Birchwood does anymore damage to the brand by sloppy business practices and putting unsafe vehicles on the road. More

Bad customer service I did a lot of waiting. It seemed there was a push to get my vehicle “sold” for month end. I got the vehicle home and the starter was frozen. So I h I did a lot of waiting. It seemed there was a push to get my vehicle “sold” for month end. I got the vehicle home and the starter was frozen. So I had to have my new Elantra towed back to the dealership. I did get a loaner; however, it was dirty, and the last person who had the loaner spilled gas in the back, so you were driving around high from the gas fumes. I bought the package for the under coating, but I don’t really trust they will follow up on the undercoating appointment, like they said they would. Hyundai is an excellent product, but Birchwood has poor customer service. I have brought this up but I have heard nothing back on my issues. Once they sold you the product customer service becomes sub standard. More
