This is the second purchase we have made with Todd in less than a year. I was a loyal Toyota driver for 10 years and was just not happy anymore. I have been driving my Equinox for just over a month now and absolutely love it. Todd was knowledgable and friendly. He showed me the pros and cons of buying out my lease and buying new. I would recommend Todd to everyone. He knows his stuff and does everything he can to make you happy and get the best deal possible. He calls you back but it not pushy he just wants to make sure you have all the information to make the right choice and if you say no he listens. Just a great sales guy who is so different from all other sales agents I have worked with in the past. If you want to deal with someone who is not a "typical" car salesman this is the person for you. On Saturday June 30 2012 my husband and I went to Barry Cullen's to look at their new vehicles. We were not really expecting to purchase one that day but at day's end we did. Took one out for a test drive and loved it. So with the help of Mitch Edwards and Rhys Evans we now have a new car. This dealership was just okay. Nothing special for me to recommend this dealership to other people. There was a lag and lack of communication that the dealer did not do a good job at informing any updates ( recommend this dealership to other people. My husband and I were just out looking to see what type of vehichles were available. Having owned two full sized vans over the past 20 years and knowing that these type of vans were no longer available to of vehichles were available. Having owned two full sized vans over the past 20 years and knowing that these type of vans were no longer available to purchase we weren't really sure what I wanted. We weren't in the Barry Cullen lot very long when Mitch Edwards came out and asked us what type of vehicle we were looking for. I told him that I wasn't sure and Mitch asked what we were used to driving. I told him that we had a Safari and an Astro van and that I liked sitting up higher in a vehicle. At that point we had been looking at cars. Mitch took us over to see a Montana and an Equinox. I really liked the Equinox and Mitch got the keys and let us take it out for a test drive. While I didn't sit as high in the driver seat as the van, it definitely was higher than sitting in a car. I liked the way the Equinox handled and the roomy interior and storage space. My husband and I talked it over briefly and we decided to purchase the Equinox. So we sat down with Rhys Evans and started the financing paper work. This was a little more difficult than I had expected as I had co-signed for my daughters car in 2007. As I was the only one financing the purchase of the Equinox and my daughter still had a few months left on her loan, Rhys went to work and was able to get everything approved. I was very impressed with Rhys' level of customer service. So on Thursday June 7th I picked up my vehichle. Rhys and Mitch were extremely helpful and went over everything before handing over the keys. On Friday evening I was driving to Port Elgin and noticed that there wasn't any cruise control on the Equinox. I looked at the advertised option sheet that was on the window of the Equinox and the first option indicated was cruise control. On Monday I called Mitch to discuss this issue. Mitch asked me to scan him a copy of the option sheet which I did on the Tuesday morning. Mitch called me that same day and did say that there was a disclaimer on the bottom of the options sheet which states that any purchaser should independently verifiy with a salesperson the accuracy of all the listed information. I did tell Mitch that ideally I would like cruise control put on this vehichle as I do have severe arthritis and that having cruise control would alleviate pain due to having to keep my right leg in the same position for any length of time. The same day Mitch called me and told me that Barry Cullen would install cruise control and that there wouldn't be any cost to me. Wow! Now that is exceptional customer service. It was just one week since I raised this issue until cruise control was installed on my vehicle. This dealership really made me feel like a valued customer. More
