Unfortunately the dealership's IT department let us both down as the vehicle we made the deal on had apparently already been sold! No fault of Robert's as the computer said it was available....He worked hard to find a much better truck for a slight upcharge. He brought this truck to my work to show me and we struck a new deal. I had bought my previous F150 here and my daughter bought her Edge from Robert, so I asked for him and am glad I did. Hopefully this is my forever truck but if not, I will be back to see Robert. More

After checking out a few other dealerships we stopped at Barrie Ford to look at there used trucks. It was a cold drizzly spring day and as we where checking out the inventory out walks Robert Elrick in his rain coat and a very big hat, Perfect for the weather. He listened to our situation and quickly new what truck we should take for a test drive. We only had a short amount of time as we had tickets for the movies, so he sent us on our way. We loved it alot, exactly what we where looking for. He took down some info and in a weeks time on a Saturday we where back at Barrie Ford to go over numbers and in just two days, Monday morning at 10 am we got the call that we where approved and we had everything signed and truck picked up by Tuesday. Talk about efficient. No hassles just professional friendly service. Robert was not just interested in our business we also talked about life and our jobs and travel, he made us feel at home. We can't forget about Shelly MacConell in the finance Department, she was so funny and very nice to talk to and again not just about business. Overall experience 10 out of 10 for sure. Very good service from Ford once again. I have had to have my Ford Focus repaired and the level of service was exceptional. it was Derek who handled that one for me last year. I had to have my Hyundai Elantra repaired because someone backed into my doors last month and the service was great better than the service I got from the Hyundai dealership I bought my car from.. took a month because they were super busy, but I dealt with Ashley and I just have to say they go the extra mile. Had to have a minor adjustment made on that same door repair went into see Derek who was not expecting me that day and another gentleman overheard my issue , and this was at the end of the day when he should have been going home, and he said I am sure I can take care of that for you and he did. Its also not just this dealership but the one on Mapleview as well ,where I have experienced awesome customer service. Hyundai on Mapleview ought to send their people down to the Ford dealerships so that they can get lessons on Customer service 101. Ford makes you feel like you matter. The service I received from Service Advisor Kim Wakefield was above and beyond to have my cracked Moo I am 75 years old and have purchased many cars. The service I received from Service Advisor Kim Wakefield was above and beyond to have my cracked Moon Roof that was faulty. She was relentless and followed through with Ford Motors explaining why this roof should be replaced even though it had passed the warranty date. I have never received that kind of service before and all within one week and continuos follow through with us on what was transpiring.
