I was supposed to receive an undercoating as part of the sale, and agreed to drive up from Lethbridge on a Saturday to have it done. Spent the day waiting in Calgary and after I got home I noticed there was gravel dirt and dust underneath the fresh undercoating. 4 days later the undercoating was already chipping off and I could literally pick off chunks with my finger. I called back and was told that the only thing they would do would be to have me drive up again to re-coat the car, and then was reminded condescendingly that it was a "free" service. I guess that's an excuse to do a poor job?? When I asked why it wasn't washed before application I was told that it's not usually washed and that if it was, the mechanic would have to wait 24hrs before applying it. So I'm not sure how they plan on cleaning off and re-coating the car in less than 24 hours if I were to bring it back. No one mentioned anything to me about pre-washing the car when I was trying to book the appointment so I didn't even think of it. Would have been nice to know ahead of time instead of wasting a full day and a tank of gas in Calgary for nothing! After numerous attempts to follow up over several weeks, they finally agreed to cover the cost of a shop to have the undercoating cleaned off and reapplied in Lethbridge. After contacting a shop and explaining the issue, I got a quote for $400-500 for the whole process (my initial undercoating was valued at $500 by Barlow motors). I provided this info and the shop contact info to the owner who promised they would cover the cost, and have not yet received confirmation that he provided billing info to the shop, despite further attempts to follow up. If you want xxxxty service this is definitely the place to buy a car! More

Worst place to buy a car from This place is worst. 1.) Horrendous customer service : It will take about 20 mins for them to attend you. They are rude in their language too especially their receptionist and sales guy Ed ibrahim. 2.) High priced vehicles, low quality.: Their vehicles are highly priced. Their vehicles are about 30% costly than any dealership you will ever find. Also their inventory is useless. They tried to sell me Nissan Altima 2005 silver coloured, whose timing chain had problem and would cost $1600 to replace it, its sunroof didnt work, side windows would not roll down but still their sales guy was adamant about selling it for $6500 though that junk would not sell for more than 2500. Then he showed me a lancer and civic and both were useless with major problems but he still was adamant about price. He was trying to sell me his son's orange 2004Mazda 3 (hatchback) which had hail damage with 200,000Km on it and he was selling it to me for 5400 though that would not sell in market for more than 2500 bucks. He kept on forcing me to buy car owned by his son and said it would be private deal with no tax. Also while I was looking at cars with salesguy, there was another customer who had bought CR-V from them less than week ago and he was here because his AC/ heater was not working, and barlow motors was asking for $1800 more to fix it. even though he had bought his car less than week ago 3.) After that I looked on other black altima and liked it. SO we fixed the price for $6000.I had given him advance . After 3 days when I went back to pay full amount as discussed , he backed off and started asking for $6500 for same price + registration + taxes. Who the xxxx does that? I have learned one thing, I will never ever visit Barlow motors again neither recommend it to anyone. Guys beware, this is horrendous place to buy car, it will definitely have some problems in it and Guy ED Ibrahim is nothing more than cheater and Liar. More

Not even worth a star I do not recommend this dealership. The sales people are pushy and rude. They talked down on me the entire time I was here. They showed me 1 vehicle as that was all the had that I was interested in and the vehicle was not the best for the price. I put a deposit down and said I would think about it and let them know later in the day, as the vehicle was over priced for what it was actually worth. They harassed me to make the decision and did not give me the space to think it over on my own. When I returned to get my deposit back the staff avoided me and made it very difficult. The sales people were also very dishonest from the beginning. And told me they had to lie to get me the vehicle I wanted etc. More
