I am so sorry that you had a negative service experience at our dealership. The crux of the issue is not a money grab but a struggle to keep up with the demands of the snow tire season. We have added staff but the demands for installation of snow tires slows the process considerably. Everyone want to wait for late October through November to install their snow tires and most people also want to do their servicing at the same time to avoid two trips to the dealer. We are booked up through the week days and Saturdays now until the beginning of December. I understand that we gave you your oil change for free due to the extended wait time but please contact me and I will be happy to extend a service credit as a gesture of goodwill as well. Hello, unfortunately, we did not get a free oil change as it was prepaid but only covered the change of winter tires. 25 $ .... Our time as customers is more valuable than that. I am sorry but the reason you have given does not make sense. You know how long it takes for service appointments and what your capacity is. Unfortunately you chose to ignore it. What is the dealership willing to do to keep its customers ???? As we have one foot out the door and quality service is the best way to bring us back in... Look forward to the next excuse but hopefully it will be a splution or offer for wasting our time....

I did not choose to ignore anything. I've been a service manager for over thirty years. I wish the solution was as easy as you feel it is. Often, what starts out as a routine oil change and tire change-over turns out to be a brake job, a suspension repair or a warranty repair, which ties a man and a hoist up and takes them out of the cycle. If we book so that no one waits this time of year, there would be far more people upset that they couldn't get an appointment than those who have to wait too long. No matter how you slice it, it is unfortunately a result of the season. A major chunk of our clientele base wants these services done within a six week period. The building isn't big enough, nor could we provide enough staff to meet the needs as efficiently as we would like. Tire change-overs are $35 which is a reasonable gesture for what happened but I will be happy to offer another $50 towards future service.
