Arrogant, cocky old school sales people. I called in inquiring regarding a vehicle. Tried my best to speak French, ask the rep if they speak English and they seemed so inconvenienced that t I called in inquiring regarding a vehicle. Tried my best to speak French, ask the rep if they speak English and they seemed so inconvenienced that they got the call. Inquired whether a vehicle was available, provided the model and description of the vehicle. Sales person had zero idea on what I was asking, and said we don't sell hyundais. I then provided the stock number and he was then able to find the M3. G80= M3, no a genesis.... I asked normal questions such as; How long have you had this in stock, how was it acquired. All very important questions, which very clearly annoyed the sales person. Never the less we overcame his attitude. Confirmed the price and asked if they were open to discussing it as a dealership literally 10 km from my front door has the SAME car with 1/2 the mileage. Was answered " No, we don't negotiate." Having managed several German luxury dealerships, this was a ridiculous answer from the sales person. So I simply asked, "I understand, however I'd still like you to present my offer to your manager as it is not your decision." Sales person- "I'm 150% they won't entertain offers." Me- Great, I ask that you transfer me to your manager, or another sales person whom is available" Salesperson- "Well, I can present your numbers if you really want to" Me- "Nope, I gave you the chance. I am not asking you to present my offer, I am asking you to transfer me to another person" Salesperson- " Just call back in, I cannot do that" Never in my life have I been met with such stubborn "old school car dealership sleeze." When interest rates are raising, and inventory is decaying, who in their right mind would not engage in a prospect? I have left several voice mails with management, and have yet to hear back. I'm happy to remove/update this review if BMW Montreal wishes to address my concern. Likewise, I VERY happy to leave this review if no action is taken. More
