Disappointing, disheartening, letdown by not only Langley BMW dealership but BMW themselves as well!.... I truly wish that there was a way to not even give one star to describe my disgust with this dealersh BMW dealership but BMW themselves as well!.... I truly wish that there was a way to not even give one star to describe my disgust with this dealership! My wife and I purchased a brand new BMW I3 Rex from Langley BMW. This was our second vehicle from them within two years and believe it or not that our first vehicle was a total nightmare purchase as well what we currently did not learn our lesson. We did all of the negotiations over the phone and emails without even ever seen the vehicle. We thought that we could trust this dealership and reputation that they supposedly had taken care of their customer. Ultimately the in the end what we got in return was a complete utter lack of respect and dignity towards the vehicle we purchased and how they handle the issues afterwards regarding scratches all over the front hood which they my detailer take care of which should have been taken care of before we even picked up the vehicle! On top of that, some items in the vehicle or pillaged from the general public over the time it's at the dealership with the dealership itself did not even make sure was still in the vehicle until I found out from another owner one day out grocery shopping. Another sore point is the fact that this dealership lost the original charging cable which they did replace but with a generic version not the I3 branded one. As well the owner's manual contents including the case where pillaged from the vehicle. All that was left was a torium owner's manual that the dealership replaced finally after 3 months and only after I complained multiple times through telephone and emails. They never did replace all the other contents there was supposed to come with the vehicle! I write this in hopes that new potential customers will take heed and either stay away from this dealership due to their lack of moral responsibility not being there or be very cautious of every step you take and making sure that everything that you're entitled to is there before you finalize the paperwork. I highly recommend buyer beware with Langley BMW. I have made a formal complaint with BMW Canada and asked to have this internally looked into. I was informed that other than them doing what they can the dealership can do whatever they want which is the sad point of it all. Just totally disgusted with this whole entire process and with Langley BMW. More
In general, my experience at this dealership was a terrible one. I certainly can’t recommend this dealership to anyone. I purchased a used vehicle at Open Road BMW Langley. The car had a dent and terrible one. I certainly can’t recommend this dealership to anyone. I purchased a used vehicle at Open Road BMW Langley. The car had a dent and a few scrapes and paint chips. They agreed to fix the dents and do all of the touch ups so long as I took the vehicle home with me that day. At the time of purchase, they said it should take no more than a couple of days and they said they would contact me to book me in. A couple of days went by and no word from them regarding getting me booked in. I reached out to the General Manager, and got a response fairly immediately. The terrible experience continues. Rather than taking a couple of days, they then quoted me 3-5 days. On the 4th day, I followed up to see how it was going. At that point they said it may take a few more days. On the 5th day, I reached out to the general manager once again because I felt like something wasn’t right. It turns out, they didn’t even start on the repairs. This dealership dropped the ball at every step of the way. And I was only able to get them to move forward after I contacted the general manager. This is not a dealership that is trustworthy. Despite having them drop the ball over and over again, I didn’t even get a simple apology for the delay when I picked up my vehicle. I think that speaks volumes here and suggests that they simply don’t care. That is unless you get their boss involved. Despite the poor experience, I do want to recognize Kirt Gill who eventually got his team to make this right. They eventually did as they promised. But in the end, the whole experience left a bad impression and I likely would not visit an Open Road dealership again. The transaction is now done, and I’m glad I don’t have to deal with them any further. More
