I've owned a Mazda CX5 since 2016 and purchased it at the Kelowna dealership. I've taken my car for service to a local autoshop mainly for convenience. I started having service at the Kelowna dealership in my past 3 visits and I am so glad I did. The reception staff are excellent, the Service staff are great too. It takes a bit longer for service time but I know they are busy. They have a shuttle to the mall if I want to spend the time there while my car is worked on. And it's worth it because they are very thorough. I'm very happy taking my car there. More
I’ve been a loyal customer of Kelowna Mazda since 2018, with two Mazda vehicles in our household. Until recently, I consistently received attentive, professional service that made me feel valued. In early May, I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire patch. Despite having a 1:45 p.m. appointment, I waited 10 minutes to be helped, and the service took nearly four hours—with no updates—until I asked how much longer it would be. A recall-related issue I’d previously flagged was still missed and only corrected at the front desk, while small touches that once made the experience feel thoughtful—like a complimentary car wash—have quietly disappeared. Meanwhile, oil change pricing has increased significantly, which would be understandable if service quality had remained high. But it hasn’t. The decline has been sharp—and deeply disappointing. I sent an email outlining my concerns on May 7, followed up with calls, and was told on May 12 that my message had been passed along to leadership. It’s now the end of July, and I’ve received no response. The silence says a lot. After years of loyalty, I no longer feel like a valued customer. I hope Kelowna Mazda takes this feedback seriously—because service should matter just as much as sales. More
Their service department, and Conrad in particular, is fantastic! I'm in a 2013 Mazda3 with over 550,000kms on it and it's still a pleasure to drive and maintain. I really feel like he's rooting for us to reach our goal of a million kms. He is consistently approachable, easy to understand, and often goes above and beyond making sure we have what we need. I nearly always drive away from the service department with a smile, feeling good about the maintenance we've had done, feeling good with the performance of the car, and feeling good with having had another positive experience with Conrad. It makes a difference feeling like you and your car are well cared for. Thanks! More
Great sales team but the service department is the absolute worst. I do not recommend buying a vehicle there. After buying our cx5 did hear a word from them. Took over a year the get a wiring harness only after I said we wanted our money back amazingly it shows up two days later. And today they tried charge for a belt tensioner that was under warranty. Seems like every time the vehicle goes in we have a large bill to pay. Never had this with any other new vehicle that we have purchased. More

Mid September, my batter ..BEWARE OF AUGUST MAZDA Bought a used Mini Cooper from August Mazda for over $26,000 and had it insured on June 1, 2023. Mid September, my battery died...not able to start my car. So I took it back to them...as they told me I had a warranty for 6 months. Apparently...that was not written in stone...I had a quote for $421 that then went to $543 to replace the battery...high I felt but needed to be done. When we went to pick it up...magically, the quote moved went from $543 to $628. Oh yeah...they forgot to add the taxes... August Mazda does not keep to their word. They told me a 6 month warranty that they did not honour...then that turned into 10% off parts...that then went to full price sucker. They misquote and expect the customer to pay for the difference. Good thing I didn't take the extended warranty...I may have had yet another surprise. More

The dealership is outstanding. The folks in the service department are knowledgeable and very accommodating. I would not bring my vehicles anywhere else for servicing.
