Worst experience ever - Audi West Island is to be avoided at all costs! I purchased a new 2021 Q3 in March and expected for delivery sometime in August. On June 30th, my salesman, Nick Catalano, calls me at all costs! I purchased a new 2021 Q3 in March and expected for delivery sometime in August. On June 30th, my salesman, Nick Catalano, calls me at 5:05PM to tell me that my car is on it's way to the dealer and to have my proof of insurance and final payment dated "June 30, 2021". He called after business hours on the day he asked the documents to be dated! How is this possible and why would I provide insurance coverage and payment if my Q3 had not yet arrived at the dealership for delivery? Why would I assume any responsibility while the vehicle is in transit. Extremely unprofessional from all concerned, including the manager Bedik Charchafian. In any case, I finally took possession on July 6th. On Nov. 7th I was stopped by a police officer who requested an inspection of my tinted front windows (work I had done by Audi West Island). After measuring the percentage of light passing through the window, the officer informed me that the windows were too dark and not within the legal limit. The result of their measurement was 41% of light passing through my windows. They legal limit must be no less than 70%. This came as a shock to me since I have always purchased cars with tinted front mirrors and always paid the dealer for the work. My previous car was a Range Rover I had purchased from a dealer and also paid them for tinted front windows. I never had a problem. (I should have stuck with Range Rover and not switch to Audi, big mistake). I reported the incident to my salesman at Audi West Island. I also provided him with a Police reference (website) containing the regulations on tinted windows. Audi West Island responded by saying they will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to rectify the problem and claim to have NO RESPONSIBILITY. I have since reported my experience/problem directly to Audi Canada. They have opened a ticket with a promise to investigate the situation and provide me with a follow-up within 48 business hours. I am anxiously awaiting their response. A very unhappy Audi owner and NEVER AGAIN Audi West Island Client. P. I. PS. To further illustrate the incompetence of Audi West Island, a friend of mine had a problem with the sunroof on her A3. The roof was tilted upwards and would no longer close. The service agents told her that they had no time to look at the problem and she would have to wait a month for the next appointment! So to fix the problem temporarily, they wanted to apply "saran wrap" to the opening of the roof and to seal it with "duck tape" until she could get a service appointment. A CLASS ACT representing what is supposed to be a luxury brand. More
