Hello Billy, Thank you for providing us with your feedback. In regards to deposits, we absolutely do take them. All of our vehicles are sold on a first come, first served basis. A deposit allows us to hold the car for you so you have time to come see it in person. Without a deposit, it is very likely to sell to someone else. Most of our inventory, especially our pre-owned vehicles, move very quickly and do not sit on our lot for a long time. Therefore, it is advantageous for prospective clients to place a deposit on the vehicle they are looking at. Our records indicate that you signed documents agreeing to lease a vehicle and placed the deposit to secure the vehicle subject to lease approval - which was approved. We also see that you ended up taking delivery of the vehicle so it sounds like everything worked out. Thank you for your feedback, Billy, and welcome to our Audi Family! I don't know where to begin. But basically the salesman never told me that the deposit is to secure the vehicle. I called him to schedule an appointment on the second day to do a credit check. He just said a deposit is required in order to do a credit check. And also, when I ask if this deposit is refundable or not, he responded as " subject to financial approval." I never knew doing this credit check is an approval to lease a vehicle. This is my first time buying a car, so how would you expect a first time buyer to know the process? It would be appreciated if he could explain all these in details. If I knew this credit check is an approval to lease a vehicle, I would not have done it. I believe a credit check is a very normal step for a customer to do, so even if it is approved, i guess a customer still has his or her wish to decide whether or not to lease a vehicle.

All our pre-owned vehicles go through an extensive 79-point inspection process including a road test to ensure they are up to our standards before we sell them. Checking the stereo/navigation unit operation is definitely on the list (#42 to be exact). Our records show that this issues was noticed during the inspection and disclosed to you from the very beginning of the conversation. Because this vehicle was not a certified pre-owned unit and this is not a safety related item, we adjusted the asking price of the vehicle accordingly. We also offered you our internal sales pricing to fix the stereo. Unfortunately, we were unable to absorb the cost of the fix into the deal.
