I purchased my 2022 Honda Passport in September 2022. I took it back in November 2022 for a defective Canister Vent Shut Valve issue. I explained to the service manager that I was going to the USA for 3 I took it back in November 2022 for a defective Canister Vent Shut Valve issue. I explained to the service manager that I was going to the USA for 3 months and asked what would happen if I had issues in the USA. She reassured me that I should call her if we had an issue and she would look after it. It turns out the brake rotors warped while in the USA making the vehicle unsafe to drive. I took it to a Honda dealer in the USA and they confirmed that the rotors were warped and I had to pay $300US out of pocket to have this fixed. The mileage at the time was 10,600 miles which was well within Honda's recommended inspection period. I called Alberta Honda and they reneged on their promise to look after warranty issues while in the USA. I am extremely unhappy with the service which I will rate as poor. I will never deal there again and I will never recommend them to any of my family and friends. More

Horrible customer service, had me make an appointment after I tried to make sure they could get the work I needed done in a day, then had me leave my car there after I confirmed again at the appointment after I tried to make sure they could get the work I needed done in a day, then had me leave my car there after I confirmed again at the appointment they could get it done or if not I could come by another day, only to be called 2 hours later and be told they don't have the parts and could order them for the next day. Leaving me without my car and wasting hours of my day bringing it to them for work they couldn't do. Making sure you have the parts should be one of the first things you do before making a service appointment, complete incompetence not to check that. On top of this when I was left without my car and trying to get some sleep as I work nights, the service manager Maria said she would bring my car back for me "right away" I live ten minutes away and an hour later I call to see what's taking so long and am told she's on the phone and not bringing it back at all let alone "right away" like she said. They didn't bother doing anything until after this when I complained again and asked them to send an Uber so I could get it myself. Lies, incompetence, and scummy behavior telling me what I want to hear to try and get my business. Starts at the top with the horrible customer service from their service manager, no wonder the service advisors below her are just as incompetent. Avoid this dealer at all cost. More
