The first was the drivers side door window that seemed to make a lot of noise whilst driving on the highway under windy conditions. The second was a sticking handle for the side opening tail gate. Both issues were corrected and resolved by their service technicians. During the correction of the drivers side window air leakage I had the opportunity to talk with a lovely young lady by the name of Juliet who gave me great advice regarding 2 technical/digital operations of the vehicle that I was having trouble with. Thank you Juliet. I have rated my experiences with Alberta Honda based upon my initial purchase experience (Matthew Dickie) my first service (oil change) experience and my two warranty issues that were resolved professionally. Non genuine in dealing with the customers I bought a used car and while i was doing the service with them they charged me almost 600 dollars coz it included the tire balance and alignment and I bought a used car and while i was doing the service with them they charged me almost 600 dollars coz it included the tire balance and alignment and after that i tried to call to clarify about the reason that why they sold me a car with no tire balance and alignment and how dangerous it could be when using they brake, they promised that they ll study the case and they ll call me back. no one called me back as i waited for 2 weeks. I called them and they informed me that they forwarded it to Mr Foxford and again no one called me back. I am so unhappy and frustrated from the way how the company managed my concerns and definitely i ll never go back to do service again with you because i felt that no one care about our life as a customers More
Don't ever buy a Platinum Shield Propak from Alberta Honda, This is a waste of money. The Propak is to check the diamond coating including rust, the scotch guarding and the undercoat, every 2 years for 5 times. This is a waste of money. The Propak is to check the diamond coating including rust, the scotch guarding and the undercoat, every 2 years for 5 times. The first time I was in (2014), I don't believe they did anything at all. The truck wasn't even rinsed off so I don't know how they could check for anything. The second time I was in (2016) they did a bang up job and I have no complaints but I didn't check the undercoating but am assuming that was okay. The third time, 2 weeks ago was terrible. The first thing I noticed was that they had destroyed one of my cupholders. When I talked to some person there, he treated me like I was stupid, a liar or blind and insisted that the damage had happened before I even came in. I have witnesses who know that the part was perfect when I went in. Okay a cupholder is just a cupholder!! Then the truck was making some noise at the tires on the way back. I got the mechanic in Cochrane to put it up on the hoist and he found a big blob of undercoating on one of the tires. (It is still there if anyone wants to see it). He also found that some of the undercoating seems to be missing here and there underneath. Since then I've found a patch of rust on the edge at the bottom of the door opening near the driver's seat. I hope not, but I am beginning to feel that this was a careless job because they wanted to do one of their expensive maintenance checks and I said, "No". I have a licensed mechanic that I take the vehicle to on a regular basis near where I live and I have a file of work orders to prove it. My biggest regret is that I bought this plan in the first place. My second biggest regret is that I have two more check ups to go, otherwise Alberta Honda would never see my face again. More

Worst dealership ever! WORST dealership ever! Purchased a 2015 jeep Cherokee from alberta honda and after driving it for 4 months the power steering rack just became faulty WORST dealership ever! Purchased a 2015 jeep Cherokee from alberta honda and after driving it for 4 months the power steering rack just became faulty all of a sudden while I was turning at the traffic lights. Reached out to the dealership since it had not been that long since the purchase and the vehicle has not been used for regular commute just drive within the city usually to run errands like groceries and shopping. Well to my dismay alberta Honda was not willing to help with my problem gave me the run around then finally let me tow the vehicle to them so they could try to figure out what was wrong. When they failed to figure out what was wrong they sent it to their sister dealership since they are a Chrysler dealership. Later on I was advised by the sister dealership the power steering rack was damaged and needed to be replaced, the cost of the repairs came to $4,000 and it needed to be paid right away or they will tow the vehicle to the address I would give them if I did not have the funds. This was unexpected and $4,000 was not money I had to pay right away so I reached out to Alberta Honda again to see if there was a way they could help me. The manager (Patrick) I spoke with said he would review my file and call me back. When he called me back he said they could do a trade in for my vehicle and try to keep payments the same as I was currently paying on the jeep. He advised me to go in and see what they had available. When I went in I was thinking it would be a trade in for a preowned vehicle but to my surprise it was for a brand new 2019 SUV and of course payments were super high. I asked about seeing what the numbers would come to if I settled for a smaller vehicle (Honda civic 2019) numbers were still high but bearable but my insurance was going to end up going up by $60 so there would be no savings there. I figured let me sleep on it and get back to them. Shocker though was my vehicle would be traded in for 12 grand almost less than 50% of what I got it for and they had already found a jeep dealership that would take it for 11 grand. Now I may not have taken business studies in college but it's also not rocket science that the math is off. When I realized that I asked if I could do a trade in for a used vehicle I was told that option was not available. I was told they could run my credit regarding a new purchase then pay off the existing loan on the jeep and I start afresh with the Honda civic. I asked if they could just help in paying for the cost of repairs considering it was just too soon for me to be doing a major repairs to the vehicle after a recent purchase...that was not an option either. Since they seemed so rigid in options available i told them i would get back to them the next day after discussing with my family. That evening i discussed my situation with my family to get their input. Afterwards I decided it's better I get my vehicle towed back to my house and shop around for a mechanic that will charge me less than the $4,000 then get vehicle fixed. I contacted Alberta Honda (Scott) the next morning and advised them to cancel the credit application and that I will just get the vehicle fixed on my own. After that I called their sister dealership to give them the address to tow the vehicle to but to my surprise they were willing to work with me and see how they could be of assistance. The manager David said he would look into my issue and see if there was a way they could fix the problem for less and also keep me as a customer. Later that day he called me back and advised me the vehicle could be fixed for $2,205. He sent me the paperwork and he saved the day. The next day I got a call from alberta Honda (Kumar) offering me to trade in for a preowned vehicle. I told him I will get back to him after discussing with my family. After considering how, when I was in tears and asked if they could do that the day I went in for the trade in they said that was not an option and now after I am able to get the vehicle fixed for less that's an option. I called him back and said no thank you but alberta Honda could chip in for repairs. He said no we dont do that and the call ended. My trust in the dealership got eroded with how things played out and even in trying to redeem themselves now, I still struggle to see their customer focus. Maybe if they could have been the ones to talk to their sister dealership in working lower costs to repair the vehicle I would have something better to say about them but no I had to fight my own battle. Where is the customer service or maybe that's the new definition alberta Honda standards 🤷??? I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. They will treat you like you are in collections if the vehicle they sell you gives you problems after you purchase it. And what's worse is the confidence their sales guys have in telling you the make of your vehicle cannot be compared to a Honda🙄 if you purchase something else ....but they are the ones selling it. We were visiting Edmonton on December 20 and experienced an incident with our 2015 Honda CRV . Our car wouldn't start. Called AMA, and got a boost, but there was still some issues. The AMA Driver recommended Alberta Honda to check the car before driving back to Calgary as a precaution. Glen tested and checked the battery, found it was in good condition, explained why our battery ran down, re-assured us there were no other problems and gave us a written explanation describing battery maintenance. This was a very pleasant experience and a worry-free drive back to Calgary. More
