I purchased my 2022 Honda Passport in September 2022. I took it back in November 2022 for a defective Canister Vent Shut Valve issue. I explained to the service manager that I was going to the USA for 3 I took it back in November 2022 for a defective Canister Vent Shut Valve issue. I explained to the service manager that I was going to the USA for 3 months and asked what would happen if I had issues in the USA. She reassured me that I should call her if we had an issue and she would look after it. It turns out the brake rotors warped while in the USA making the vehicle unsafe to drive. I took it to a Honda dealer in the USA and they confirmed that the rotors were warped and I had to pay $300US out of pocket to have this fixed. The mileage at the time was 10,600 miles which was well within Honda's recommended inspection period. I called Alberta Honda and they reneged on their promise to look after warranty issues while in the USA. I am extremely unhappy with the service which I will rate as poor. I will never deal there again and I will never recommend them to any of my family and friends. More
