deal break by alberta honda I requested the price for a civic lx cvt and got the reply from Harpreet Saggu, kept saying that I got a great deal and I believed. I even received a call from him after 8:00pm on the first day. I provided my personal info as well as credit card no. to make deposit second day. Both of us agreed that we made the deal, include first maintenance fee waived. I have been told again and again that this is a great deal that I cannot miss it. So I took it. When we made the deal, his manager Alex was also beside him during the phone call. Harpreet Saggu then began to prepare the pre-finance doc before my arrival to the dealership to sign. However, his manager Alex broke the deal 1 hour later and called me rudely, simply said sorry but cannot follow the deal as he told me the deal was too low. He claimed that it was pulled out the price for a manual transmission. But all our discussion and emails clearly indicated this is civic LX CVT trim. He broke the deal after I gave the deposit (even though he claimed that the deposit was not charged on card), and let me go away to another dealership!!! I didn't hear a feeling to apologize but just want me to get away. It is wired to hear that a dealership offered a wrong deal and break it later. Should they deal with numbers all day long? Anyway, it can be simply explained as anyone can make mistakes, which I agree. But the way they fix it is not professional, simply break the deal and offered another one, which is even way higher than other dealership to kick the customer away, is not acceptable. The service from Harpreet is reasonable as he responses fast and polite, but I cannot comment on his manager. It turns out they wasted my time for 24hours. More

I am one of those people who has despised the thought of walking into a vehicle dealership and the usual high pressure sales approach that has always left me feeling a bit repulsed. Walking into Alberta Honda was an entirely different and surprisingly positive experience. I had gone online to find out their hours and was immediately connected to one of the salesmen who was ready to sit down with me when I arrived. Harp really took the time to get a good understanding of my situation and needs and then made suggestions for test drives. I had a lot of fun with the test drives, however, still felt no pressure to make a decision. Options were clearly presented and once I made the decision Harp and the rest of the team made the experience clmknletely pain free. During the test drive and again when I picked up my vehicle Harp spent a lot of time going over the vehicle with me. I love my Honda and I would highly recommend Alberta Honda! More
