Airport Mazda of Toronto

The Airport Mazda Service Dept installed a new Mazda OEM battery on my 2017 CX-5 last November. Now, 6 months later, the battery dies and cannot even be jump started, so had to towed to another Mazda dealer battery on my 2017 CX-5 last November. Now, 6 months later, the battery dies and cannot even be jump started, so had to towed to another Mazda dealership. There, I showed them my invoice/ report of Airport Mazda having replaced the battery. They contacted Airport Mazda, who refused to stand behind their Warranty, asserting that "certain tests" were not done (BY THEM) upon installing the new battery, therefore they cannot consider it as under Warranty! As a result, since I need to get my CX-5 back on the road, I had to fully pay for the new battery (at the other dealership where I had it towed). Do NOT use Airport Mazda for service on your vehicle, as this is how they treat customers under their "warranty" policy! As for Mazda, this is my first time owning a Mazda, but never again, given the policies of their Airport Mazda dealership. More

Purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Justin in September 2023 and one month later, after a number of various problems (which this dealership tried to fix, unsuccessfully), the vehicle became undriveable. Literally. The car wouldn't start at all. Mechanics (at a different dealership, thankfully) have taken almost a month to diagnose the vehicle. It was revealed that the car was likely in an unreported accident and had significant damage to its electrical components. Thousands of dollars in replace/replace costs. No offer to help from the dealership, and no option to return the vehicle (or even trade in for another!) even though the car became undriveable less than 30 days after purchase. Dealer told me I *should have bought their extended warranty*, however it was explained to me upon purchase that previous owner had purchased extended warranty, but I would have to figure out the warranty situation on the vehicle myself, rather than helping in any way. More

I left a $1000 deposit and ordered a Mazda 3, which I was told would be ready in 3 months. No one ever called me to say Mazda hadn't even accepted my order (2.5 months after I left the deposit) and was told told would be ready in 3 months. My order might be ready in another in another 2 or 3 months. I saw a used Mazda on their website and called the next day to ask about this car. The salesperson said he would call me back the same day, 3 days later and still no return call. So I bought a car today at a Mazda of Toronto dealership, which was quite the opposite experience, and a pleasant one at that! No wonder they are rated #2 in Ontario and #1 in Canada! Will never deal with Airport Mazda again! More
