For the service center, Patrick Rodriguez is not just amazing, but he is phenomenal! Right after the valet immediately helped me with signing me in, Patrick took over and was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Super friendly guy; the kind you want to go have a beer with! Also the oil change was in great time, especially considering it was a busy day, and the car was washed which was a nice touch. The customer waiting area was also well set up, with snacks and refreshments. Hats off to the whole team at Acura Thornhill for superb customer service and with a friendly smile to make the day! Though I continued to visit other Acura locations, Lexus and Toyota, I knew that I would get the service I needed prior and after sales from Acura of Thornhill, and mainly from John and Albert Faris. Deal was done effectively and efficiently. I would recommend this location and particularly John Listro and Albert Faris for anyone looking for an Acura. Thank you More

I just had my vehicle serviced at this location (they moved to 88 steeles) and I would NOT recommend servicing your vehicle here. Note that the below review is not directed specifically to a single perso moved to 88 steeles) and I would NOT recommend servicing your vehicle here. Note that the below review is not directed specifically to a single person, but at the location/management/overall atmosphere: 1) This location used to belong to Sisley Honda which was a great dealership. Pfaff took over last year and made the puzzling choice of combining their Honda & Acura franchise into one single existing facility. This means they have doubled the number of sales and service desks, but kept the same amount of bays, service parking lots, amenities (hardly any to begin with), etc etc. The feeling in and outside the dealership is of an absolutely crowded no frills grocery store. 2) I came in for a regular oil change on my Acura ILX and gave my car in at 10:45am. Even on a busy day, a regular oil change at any dealership should not take more than 90 minutes. I was told I should expect my car back at 2pm. Not wanting to just sit around for over 3 hours, I asked for a shuttle since my home was only 8 minutes away. They gave me an uber, which is good – and they told me they would get me an Uber back when the car was ready. I tried calling them at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm – no one picked up and in the off chance they picked up, they weren’t helpful. I finally decide to take my own Uber and get to the dealership at 4.45pm. I waited until 5:30pm to get my car back! That is almost 7 hours for a single regular oil change! 3) When I got my car and started driving out of the premises, I see the oil indicator coming on. I had to return back to the dealership and remind them that they forgot to reset my oil indicator. At this point, I’m doubting if they even bothered to change the oil in the first place! 4) Again I drove off and by the time I got home 8 minutes later, I see my TPMS light going off. I check and see that the drivers front side tire is almost flat. They had told me they would do complimentary checks which includes “topping off” my tire air pressure. I own a portable air compressor and I regularly check the pressure of my tires on a weekly basis, and I also bought 3 dozen BLACK valve caps from Amazon that I use in case I lose a valve cap. So this time when I check the tire, I see a SILVER valve cap which means they definitely tried to do a “complimentary air pressure top off” but only this time they were sloppy and they let almost all the air out! It could not have been me because I only own BLACK valve caps. I’m just glad there was no damage to my tire due to the flat. 5) They also said they would give me a “complimentary car wash” – which I checked in broad daylight and I can tell you that it is nothing but a glorified garden hose. I could clearly see large patches of dust on the roof and trunk of my car - and I even saw new micro scratches near the driver door handle. 6) They said they would provide “complimentary fluid top ups” so now I am worried and will be checking all the fluids in my car to make sure they didn’t screw anything else up. 7) They charged me $140 for the oil change on my vehicle. I completely understand the cost of business has risen post-pandemic. However – you charge MORE for the cars and the add-on’s, you charge MORE for the service, you TAKE AWAY amenities and space, you combine two franchises in a single existing location and its crowded up the wazoo - how is this OKAY? 8) This is NOT a one-off experience. Almost every customer in the service department was visibly and verbally exasperated – no matter if it was a Honda or Acura owner. Pfaff has taken over a well-run Sisley Honda location and turned it into a nightmare. Take any recent positive reviews since Pfaff took over with a GIANT BUCKET OF SALT. Conclusion – Avoid this location. I will strongly advise anyone I know in my social and familial circles to do so also. Find another dealership that doesn’t have the above red flags, or a trusted mechanic – or better yet, start doing your own oil changes! More
Poor customer service So, I found an awesome car. . Low mileage.. great price.. wrong dealership. Acura of North Toronto is a joke. Saw and bought it Monday. Paid full price. Picked it up Saturday . Low mileage.. great price.. wrong dealership. Acura of North Toronto is a joke. Saw and bought it Monday. Paid full price. Picked it up Saturday. Salesman, Mark Zehtabi’s last words – “any concerns, just call me”. There was a recall on the car – which he said they would do – forgot to ask when I left. And when I checked the oil dipstick at home, it was about an inch over the full mark and smelled badly of gas. Called him about an hour after we left. He was busy – left a message. No response. Called and left messages for him on his voice mail Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Friday – OK – enough is enough. Called and asked for the used car manager. Spoke to Ali Naqvi. Says to put my concern in writing and he will deal with it. I did so that day. No response from him. Emailed him again on Wednesday. Said he will confirm with the service department and get back to me. Could you not have done that in the last 3 days? Finally after 2 more messages left for Ali (Mark never did call me back), he says that there was no recall outstanding, but they would do an oil change for me if I brought it back to them. Funny. The CarFax said that there was a steering recall. Contacted a local dealership as I live near Hamilton, and wasn’t prepared to drive the car back 70KM so they could deal with the over-full, stinky oil. Ali offered to contact a dealership in Oakville for the oil change. Still too far to go. Image Honda agreed to do an oil change for me and ordered parts so that the recall could be dealt with in the following week, in case it wasn’t done and I agreed to pay for an oil change. Dealing with Image Honda was a dream. They call Acura North Toronto on my behalf. Acura told her that the car was not ever serviced there. Image Honda dealt with all my issues. Dropped me off and picked me up. Explained everything. Amazing. The steering recall was not done as promised. And now the oil does not smell like gas. It is on the full mark – not over. The way it should be. I cannot believe in this day and age that I would be treated this way. Once they had my money, I was treated like I didn’t exist. Typical salesman. Never again. More

We called him two days after we received our Acura RDX from him - telling him that we had an error message on our infotainment centre. Basically it would no longer play music. We bought an Acura certified pre-owned RDX Elite 2019 with only 22,000km. Clean car fax. One owner. He asked if it was doing it still and we said no so he said to just monitor it and let him know if it happens again. He said that he had spoken to his technicians and they didn’t give him any advice. We searched the Internet and apparently there was a Service Bulletin for the infotainment centre that should’ve been performed earlier this year that FIXES THIS EXACT PROBLEM!!! We took our car to another Acura dealer and their service people looked after us tremendously. They immediately knew what the problem was and they had the parts for the service bulletin. They were able to complete it while we waited. Warning to people buying Acura RDX 2019 cars 2020 and 2021 to make sure that the service bulletin for the infotainment centre is completed before picking up the car. And get them to update the GPS while their at it. More
