Definitely Not Trustworthy I called the Acura Sherway dealership to set up a test drive for an Acura Certified Pre-Owned 2015 Acura TLX. After test driving the vehicle, we went I called the Acura Sherway dealership to set up a test drive for an Acura Certified Pre-Owned 2015 Acura TLX. After test driving the vehicle, we went back to the dealership to talk numbers. The vehicle showed it is certified on their website and on Acura’s website (one of the main reasons I went to check out the vehicle). The salesperson mentioned multiple times even after that the vehicle was not Acura certified with the 7year/130KM but they can probably do it for an additional cost of $1000 or so. I felt something was off since they were giving conflicting information from the Acura Canada website. After not being able to agree on a fair price and for the Acura certification (which was already done), I left. After seeing another Acura dealer, I did not find the right type of TLX in stock that I wanted in terms or interior/exterior colour and engine type. After researching this specific vehicle at Acura Sherway even further, I decided after couple days that I still want to see this specific vehicle again for the combination of the exterior/interior colour and mileage. I also verified again about the Acura certification via email to ensure I had it in writing and brought proof from the Acura Canada and the Acura Sherway website that the vehicle is Acura Certified. I checked the vehicle inside and outside thoroughly and took pictures. After requesting the service records, I could see that the vehicle was certified already 3 months ago for just over $300 at their dealership but they wanted to charge $1000 more the first time I was there. I still gave the salesperson the benefit of the doubt as maybe he was misinformed. They were very pushy and wanted me to sign before even verifying the numbers on the sales contract or reviewing the Service Records. I noticed on the agreement, there was a $395 1-Year Tire Road Hazard. When asking about this, the salesperson mentioned that this is a dealer tire/rim warranty from the dealership. After reviewing the detailed paperwork on the day of delivery, I discovered that this was also misinformation and it is a third-party warranty with lots of fine print of how and when it can be used. After reviewing the service records and settling on a price, I still proceeded on the deal with some hesitation because of the shady misleading information provided. On the day of delivery, when I checked the inside of the car, I noticed they had changed the floor mats from the ones I had test drove to a much worn out set that was dirty/warped and not even sitting on the floor properly. At this point, I was livid at the fact they would do this bait and switch type of act. The salesperson, the service manager and Assistant Sales Manager were all giving the run-around that it was not changed and that is how it looks after washing them. I had the pictures and I know they were not the same mats. They tried to convince me that it was the same mats as when I drove it and somehow I was lying. After some back and forth and still not admitting that they switched the mats, they replaced the mats with the same ones that were there. I was astonished they would try to do this type of act with a set of mats. For a supposed luxury car dealership, they were acting like a small used car garage of crooks selling garbage cars. If you are going to buy a vehicle at this dealership, do your due diligence because they will tell you whatever you want to hear to increase their bottom line and sign the sales contract quickly before you can realize exactly what you signed for. As far as the car goes, it looks and drives great so far. Acura makes great vehicles, however it’s shameful to see that they have such a low-class dealership selling them. As a Fleet Manager for my company, I purchase cars from many dealerships but never felt so insulted and offended by the obvious actions / lies and sneaky sales tactics used at this dealership. Needless to say, I would not recommend this dealership nor ever deal with them again. More

Worst experience Max,a sales person, was OK but used cars manager (Dwayne I think) was so rude and arrogant,calling a customer a bro'.I hope that their financial stand Max,a sales person, was OK but used cars manager (Dwayne I think) was so rude and arrogant,calling a customer a bro'.I hope that their financial standing is very good when they can aford themselves to lose a customer just like that.If there would be a zero stars rating they would deserved it.Went next day to Performance Acura and closed the deal in less than hour feeling happy. I'd had Acuras in the past and convinced my wife to look at something new. We went to the dealership together on a Saturday afternoon. No salesmen were in sight and there were 3 or 4 people in the entire dealership. My wife sat in a tlx and liked the car. After 10 minutes of waiting around we asked the receptionist for help. We were told the salesmen were all busy. We waited 20 more minutes but were never acknowledged. We went back to reception and again asked for help asking if we could speak to one of the 2 men in the office who seemed to be chatting and laughing. We were told that this was the manager and he wasn't available. We left and drove to the bmw dealership where a salesman approached as a soon as we walked through the door. I've purchased many new cars and been in many dealerships over the years. This was easily the worst service ever. If ANYONE had even approached us after 30 minutes in the dealership we may have waited a little longer. You really need to work on this. More

They were patiently listed to my problem, did all the necessary research and communicated all they had done and my options to me in layman's terms. They solved the issue without taking the car apart and did it in a timely manner. I have previously been a high end German car owner and was hesitant to switching to Acura. Thus far I have been very pleased with my car and the service has been fantastic. Congrats Sherway Acura. Aamer More
