Worst Car Buying Experience of my life! Went to this dealer because they had a 2013 TSX demo. I would say they have an awful lot to learn about customer service. Offered me a ludicrous low ball for my 2009 TSX that I was trading in - $10,00 that they put on their web site for $16,888 and sold within a week or two as it was in excellent condition with less than 100,000 kms on it. All negotiations took place at a front counter - was not even offered to have a seat in an office. I am mad at myself that I did end up buying the car there but only because I had not found another one like it. Got it home and found I was missing the car manual, navigation manual, roadside assistance information and to top it all off the Sirrius Radio had not been set up. French Navigation Manual was the only thing in the glove compartment -my fault I guess because I should have checked and not relied on the Check List they provided indicating all was there. E-mails sent to the General Manager Sean Reid all go unanswered. Have bought 5 Honda products over the years and never had such a horrible experience! More

What I got in return was a humiliating experience, where the manager did not want to even negotiate with me. He didn't try to sell the car one bit, but mocked, laughed and acted totally arrogant. In the end, a very intimidating experience, with absolutely NO EFFORT to sell me the car. More

You know the process....make an offer, I have to take it to my manager...and so on. I'm glad to say that this WASN'T my experience with Acura east and especially with Dave and Janice. I bought a 2010 Acura MDX and couldn't be more pleased about it. I've bought many vehicles over the years and can't say the same about those experiences. They were professional, upfront and downright great and "normal" people. No pressure tactics, no games and an easy buying process. I came away with a great deal and they even gave me some extras without making a big deal about it. I would definitely recommend this dealership, but more importantly, recommend Janice and Dave. You will walk away knowing that you got a fair deal and a great vehicle. I know I did. April 2014. More
I recently bought a 2011 Acura TL from Acura East, and have to say I had a satisfying experience dealing with the sales staff at this dealership. I saw the vehicle on the Auto Trader web site, then con have to say I had a satisfying experience dealing with the sales staff at this dealership. I saw the vehicle on the Auto Trader web site, then contacted them for further info. A salesman named Jim replied, and I negotiated for the vehicle over e-mail with him during the week. As with any big purchase I had a lot of questions, and over several e-mails he answered them all fully and completely. With that done, I drove down to Ajax from Ottawa for the day to test drive it and seal the deal. The staff members were very friendly, easy to deal with, and didn't use pushy sales tactics or hard sells. They were receptive to my [reasonable] asking value for my trade, with very little haggling, and threw some bonuses in on the sale (brand new all-season tires, custom TL floor mats and trunk tray, and a discount on the extended warranty). As for after-sale service, obviously I can't say much about their service department because I live 500km away and get the vehicle serviced at my local dealership. But on the day of the sale I took my new car and left in a hurry, forgetting the owners manuals. Jim was great about this, and sent them to me via Purolator courier right away (they arrived at my home 3 days after the sale). A month later, he e-mailed me to follow up and see if I was happy with my vehicle. At this point I can say I have no regrets about purchasing from Acura East. Be sure to pay them a visit if you're shopping for an Acura in the GTA! More
