Poor customer service They have had my car for a month I was expecting only a couple of days. The first week I called on Friday and Saturday and no one knew the status of m They have had my car for a month I was expecting only a couple of days. The first week I called on Friday and Saturday and no one knew the status of my car because my service advisor was off those days. Second week they called me to tell me my Engine needed more work and the cost would be $1,700. Two weeks later after I requested a cost break down I was sent an email blurb itemizing several cost items but no total and no proper quote. Sometime after that the cost was listed as $1,950. The next week I was told the car needed more engine work and the cost would be $3,500. The car has only 141,000 km. I taken the car in at 78,000 km complaining of excessive oil consumption of 4 litres between oil change which they told me after I paid them to do an oil consumption test that took four months, that one litre for every 1,500 km was considered normal oil use. This amounts to 6 litres between oil changes. Since Imhad taken the car in for the oil sumption and they told me the car was okay I asked them if they could do something with head office to cover the cost of the repairs which they said they do not do. After contacting the service manager they said they could apply for goof will but they needed all my maintenance records. I went back to the garage where I had the oil changes done to get the records and gave them to Acura. An Acura representative when to the garage demanding hard copies of the records. Acura called me back and told me I could get $500 good will but they increased the price of the engine repair to $4,100. They also told me I did not get more good will because I did not do the service work at Acura. I had asked them repeatedly for a quote on the repairs and they had only sent an email blurb listing items and costs poorly laid out. I finally got the proper quote this week. I had asked the service advisor repeatedly both verbal and email on the condition of the engine, how badly the parts are worn and would would happen if I did not do the repairs. I wanted to know if it was normal wear, if it wasn't I wanted to know the cause of the wear and how that effected the rest of the engine. He did not answer any of the questions. I finally got hold of the service manager who was completely agitated by my question and kept saying you have to make a decision on what your doing with your car. I told him I require the questions answered on the condition of the engine before I can determine whether it is feasible to invest the money in the engine repair. He did answer some of my questions but he could not tell me what caused the engine wear and what was the condition of the rest of the engine. He told it would cost more money to check the rest of the engine and suggested I get the whole engine reconditioned for another $2,500. I went on line and found I could get used honda engines for $3,500 with 60,000 km. While the car was in for service they had an accident with the car and punctured a hole through the bumper. I requested the quote for the repair and it was for only $279. A scratch on a bumper cost is $1,500 and this was more than just a scratch. More

I observed people coming all the way from Markham and downtown to get their service done and it's worth travelling miles for best professional service in low rates.
