The communication through the completion of the lease agreement was poor, and a subsequent maintenance/3rd party warranty issue was handled very badly. When I raised my concerns to management, I was essentially ignored. In short, in my experience you can expect a highly engaged sales experience that is completely let down by the finance and service experience to follow. Buyer beware. More

We recently purchased a used vehicle from QEW KIA in Toronto, a 2011 Rondo EX. The vehicle had been designated certified by the service department at the point of sale. Upon driving the vehicle and taking it to our own mechanic, safety issues were discovered: faulty brakes and faulty exhaust being the most flagrant. The service manager has not responded to our recent email (though in an earlier email she admitted that the car should not have been certified given the issues), nor has the manager of the dealership contacted us, as we are asking for compensation to have these issues resolved. Along with this, the communication within the service department appears to be less than optimal as they are in a general state of confusion whenever we approach them to have work done. A mess. More

Terrible experience. August 15, 2024 while out of town, I bought a car sight unseen, KIA EV9 - very hard to get, and put down a $1000 deposit based on Malcolm saying “you August 15, 2024 while out of town, I bought a car sight unseen, KIA EV9 - very hard to get, and put down a $1000 deposit based on Malcolm saying “you’ll love it”. The next day I arrived and did not like the colour. It was not as advertised, and I did not “love it”. I have since seen the same model in the green colour, and it looked great. This car was not green. I told Malcolm that I wanted my wife to see it, and a day later told them that we didn’t like the colour. Malcolm’s first response “but you bought it”. Later Malcolm agreed that I would get my refund, and that he would help. Apparently people are lined up to purchase these vehicles, yet I still have not been able to get my deposit back. I had put deposits at two other dealerships and immediately cancelled my orders and received back my deposits. After this experience, I do not want a KIA any more. But I can’t even seem to talk to anyone at Etobicoke. Malcolm says he will get the deposit refunded, but he has yet (October 25th) not been able to do so. Read the other one star ratings for this dealership. The people running this dealership are clearly terrible business people. Who would allow these ratings to appear on this site for so many years without fixing the issues. Stay away from them is all that I can suggest. Personally, I also blame KIA Canada for not addressing the issues here at Etobicoke, which is why I no longer want a KIA. Too bad, I think that this is a great vehicle. More

WORST DEALERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT I HAVE COME ACROSS. My experience with sales associate Wazid Ali was amazing. At the time of financing I was pitched a warranty to which I denied multiple times as I was not given the details of the product. When I asked for the detailed paperwork of the warranty I was told “I will get the paperwork at the time of delivery “. After getting the car when I received all the paperwork I read the warranty and it was not something I was pitched. So the next day I reached out to Hammad Syed the finance guy to cancel the warranty but he didn’t saying it’s an unusual circumstance to cancel. However in the sales contract it clearly says I can cancel the warranty within 30 days. After a run round of more than 10 days I was connected with Amit Sachdeva the general manager which was even a bigger disappointment. After exchanging emails and phone calls the end story is my warranty was not cancelled. Lack of integrity seems to flow from the top management. I believe for them it all boils down to making commission for them even though they had multiple opportunities to do the right thing. I highly advise to be VERY CAREFUL if you choose them as your dealership. ASK FOR PAPERWORK BEFORE YOU SIGN. More

They were able to secure my choice of car when no other dealership could! It was easy to pickup and quick. Special mention has to be given also to EMMA at the front desk. She was awesome!!! I think we emailed each other min a dozen times and each time she was friendly, professional and always answered my questions efficiently. She kept me in the loop and was able to expedite the delivery for me :) Emma also called after I picked up to make sure I was happy. That is SERVICE!!! More
